Emily Comics- Meet the team

Since I've started putting more and more of my original characters on Deviant Art I though it would be a good idea to draw an updated group shot/ height chart to introduce the team minus Popeman who I will do a write up on later. The original one is here [link]

From Right to left:

Jen: Jen (short for Jennifer) is Emily's best friend although she often questions WHY she bothers in the first place. Though she may come across as cynical Jen is actually a very kind person and cares a lot for her friends though she has little patience for Emily's antics. Jen is a Biology student and likes to spend her free time trying to create interesting new creatures. Jen is also the most fashionable member of the group.

Emily: Excitable and enthusiastic Emily is actually a very smart person but possesses very little common sense which constantly annoys Jen. At times very cynical Emily is easily distracted and unreasonable. Emily is also very blunt and possesses little to no tact, in her defence she doesn't mean to be cruel she just does not think things through. Emily is a English student

James: Cynical and irritable, James is constantly annoyed by the people around him and only wishes solitude, unfortunately Emily won't leave him alone. James is an Environmental Science student and cares very deeply about wildlife, which he values above people in many cases. He also seems to be hated by trees.

Ray: Ray is the most self confident of the group and absolutely refuses to even conceive that he is anything less then totally awesome. Ray is also the worst dresser of the group and fails to realise that he looks absurd 90% of the time. Ray is a Drama student and hopes one day to be an actor. He is also dating Jen much to everyone's confusion

Kaleigh: Kaleigh (pronounced Kay-lee) is Emily's younger sister. The opposite of her older sister Kaleigh is very kind and thoughtful. Always positive Kaleigh is the most optimistic of the group even in situations where it is not appreciated. Kaleigh is also very naive about anything involving boys. Kaleigh is a History student.

Mike: Mike is James brother and though he shares some of his brothers cynicism Mike is on average a much more positive person. Mike is very low key and a very clam person to the point of seeming cold and anti-social. Mike and Kaleigh are best friends.

Pink Afro Man (Pam)- Pam was originally named Albert but after growing his Pink Afro everyone began referring to him as The Pink Afro Man a name which he whole heartedly adopted. Pam is cheerful and bubbly no matter the situation and refuses to see bad in anyone, even people like Pope-man. Pam has a tendency to be a tad boy crazy and has trouble holding down relationships. Pam is a Accounting student.
